The City of Greenville's Parks and Recreation Department is seeking volunteers for the N. Main Rotary Park Clean-Up on Saturday, October 21, 2023. from 10am-12pm. The Meeting spot will be Bobby Pearce Community Center. Anyone who has any symptoms or COVID-19 will not be allowed to participate.
Volunteers will remove bamboo, and other invasive species along the creek bank, pathways, and perimeter. This location has a Community Center restroom on site. Staff will provide hand pruners, hand saws, pruners, gloves and water. If you want to bring any personal non powered hand tools or gloves for your own use, please do so. Please plan to wear long sleeves and pants for your protection, as we will be working in wooded areas and on hillsides. Also, keep in mind the weather conditions that day. Please come prepared with a jacket or raincoat in case of rain during the event.
