City of Greenville
N. Main Rotary Park Clean-up
April 22nd, 2023
N. Main Rotary Park
The City of Greenville's Parks and Recreation Department is seeking volunteers for the N. Main Rotary Park Clean-Up on Saturday, April 22, 2023. Volunteers will not be required to wear a mask as they will be working outside but they are encouraged to practice social distancing and avoid any tasks that require close contact for an extended period. Anyone who has any symptoms or COVID-19 will not be allowed to participate.
Volunteers will remove bamboo, and other invasive species along the creek bank, pathways, and perimeter. This location has a Community Center restroom on site. Staff will provide hand pruners, hand saws, pruners, gloves and water. If you want to bring any personal non powered hand tools or gloves for your own use, please do so. Please plan to wear long sleeves and pants for your protection, as we will be working in wooded areas and on hillsides. Also, keep in mind the weather conditions that day. Please come prepared with a jacket or rain coat in case of rain during the event.
To view volunteer opportunities and sign up, please see below. For more information about the clean-up, contact Ericka Berg at eberg@greenvillesc.gov.
